Description
COACH & EQUIPMENT IS RECALLING ONE MODEL YEAR 2007 PHOENIX SHUTTLE BUS MANUFACTURED DURING JANUARY 2007 EQUIPPED WITH TRANS/AIR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. EACH TRANS/AIR SYSTEM COMES WITH AN ELECTRICAL KIT AND EC PC BOARD WHICH IF IMPROPERLY INSTALLED COULD OVERHEAT.
Injuries / Consequence
OVERHEATING OF THE PC BOARD COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy
COACH & EQUIPMENT WILL NOTIFY THE OWNER AND THE BUS WILL BE REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE. THE REPAIR WILL BE PERFORMED BY TRANS/AIR. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 8, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TRANS/AIR WARRANT AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT 1-800-673-2448 OR COACH & EQUIPMENT AT 1-315-536-2321.
