Description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS. THE AIR HOSES FROM THE RELAY VALVES WERE CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE SERVICE BRAKE CHAMBERS, RATHER THAN BETING CONNECTED THROUGH THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) MODULATOR. THIS DOES NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS."

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REROUTE THE AIR HOSES THROUGH THE ABS MODULATOR.
