Description

Navistar is recalling certain model year 2007-2010 IC 3200IM commercial buses, manufactured from April 11, 2006, through December 11, 2009. If the parking brake system experiences a loss of air pressure, the parking brake may inadvertantly apply itself, either partially or fully.

Injuries / Consequence

Inadvertent partial or total parking brake application may result in a driveline fire.

Remedy

Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will install a parking brake system pressure-loss warning system, free of change. The safety recall began on November 30, 2012. Owners may contact Navistar at 1-331-332-1590.
