Description

Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2008-2018 Aerial Devices equipped with aluminum work platforms. The platform mounting holes may fail, causing the platform to move unexpectedly.

Injuries / Consequence

If the platform moves unexpectedly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

Altec will notify owners, and dealers will install a bracket reinforcing kit, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 17, 2018. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN 689.
