Description

ON CERTAIN SHUTTLE BUSES BUILT ON A CHEVROLET CHASSIS WITH 6.6L DIESEL ENGINES, THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT POWER STEERING HOSE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO RUB AGAINST THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT BRAKE LINES AS THEY ENTER THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM.

Injuries / Consequence

IF THE BRAKE LINES AND/OR POWER STEERING HOSE HAVE BEEN DAMAGED, DO NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN PARTIAL OR TOTAL FAILURE OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE DAMAGED PARTS AND HAVE THE LINESTAKES INSTALLED FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 7, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT PRO AIR AT 574-970-0744.
