Description

THE BELLHOUSINGS WERE NOT PROPERLY HEAT TREATED AND, IN THE EVENT OF A CLUTCH OR FLYWHEEL EXPLOSION, COULD NOT CONTAIN THE FRAGMENTED PARTS.

Injuries / Consequence

FAILURE OF THE BELLHOUSING WOULD ALLOW FRAGMENTED PARTSFROM THE EXPLODING CLUTCH OR FLYWHEEL TO CAUSE BODILY INJURY TO VEHICLEOCCUPANTS.

Remedy

LAKEWOOD WILL REPLACE THE SAFETY BELLHOUSINGS AND WILL REIMBURSE OWNERS FOR BELLHOUSINGS THAT ARE NOT INSTALLED ON VEHICLES.
