Description
THE DEFECT INVOLVES AN INCORRECTLY DESIGNED SHIFT FORK. THE SHIFT FORK WAS DESIGNED TO ACTIVATE A SWITCH WHICH WOULD ILLUMINATE A LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD WHEN THE POWER TAKE-OFF IS SHIFTED INTO GEAR. DUE TO THE INCORRECT SHIFT FORK, THE DASHBOARD LIGHT FLASHES MOMENTARILY, THEN GOES OFF.
Remedy
THE MANUFACTURER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE POWER TAKE-OFF UNITS WITH AIR SHIFT ASSEMBLIES WHICH CONTAIN THE PROPER ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS AT NO CHARGE TO OWNER.
