THE RETAINER THAT SECURES THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CONTROL ROD LINKAGE TO THE STEERING COLUMN LOWER SHIFT LEVER MAY LOOSEN AND COULD DISENGAGE.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS COULD RESULT IN SEPARATION OF CONTROL ROD FROMLOWER SHIFT LEVER. ALSO, SHIFT INDICATOR MAY NOT REFLECT GEAR THE TRANSMISSIONIS IN CREATING AN ACCIDENT POTENTIAL.
