Description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRUCK MIXERS. THE BOOSTER TAG AXLE HAS AN AIR BRAKE SYSTEM WHICH WORKS ALONG WITH THE TRUCK'S VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM. NYLON AIR TUBING USED TO OPERATE THE MIXER TAG AXLE AIR BRAKES CAN FAIL.

Injuries / Consequence

FAILURE OF THE AIR BRAKE TUBING CAN CAUSE A REDUCED CAPABILITY OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE BLACK, SEMI-STIFF, 1/2" TUBING WITH 5/8" BLACK TUBING WHICH BENDS EASILY AND HAS A SOFT OUTER JACKET.
