Description

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: LUGGAGE RACKS FOR USE ON BMW MOTORCYCLES. WHEN INSTALLING THE LUGGAGE RACK, THE CHARCOAL CANNISTER IS SLIGHTLY MOVED. WHEN THE MOTORCYCLE'S SUSPENSION IS FULLY COMPRESSED, THIS CANNISTER CONTACTS THE BRAKE LINE FITTING AT THE REAR BRAKE CALIPER, LOOSENING THE BRAKE FITTING. THIS CAUSES A LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID.

BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE CAN CAUSE THE LOSS OF BRAKING CAPABILITY, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy
