Description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE THERMOSTAT REGULATING THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HEATED SEATS WAS INCORRECTLY POSITIONED DURING ASSEMBLY. THIS INCORRECT POSITIONING CREATES THE POTENTIAL THAT THE SURFACE OF THE HEATED SEAT CAN REACH AN UNACCEPTABLY HIGH TEMPERATURE.

Injuries / Consequence

IN EXTREME CASES, THIS COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO ANY OBJECT IN CONTACT WITH THE SEAT CUSHION.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL AN ADDITIONAL TEMPERATURE CONTROL WITH EACH SEAT EQUIPPED WITH HEATING ELEMENTS.
