Description

Jayco is recalling certain model year 2011 Jay Series pop-up camping trailers. In these vehicles, if a component failure occurs in the roof lifter system, the failure may cause the roof to abruptly collapse to the closed position.

Injuries / Consequence

If the roof abruptly closes, there is an increased risk of personal injury.

Remedy

Jayco will notify owners and dealers will add a metal stop that prevents to sudden collapse of the roof, free of charge. The recall began on December 19, 2013. Owners may contact Jacyo at 1-800-283-8267 for more information.
