EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: AFTERMARKET GASOLINE FUEL INJECTORS DATE-CODED 0357 THROUGH 0597. A CRACK IN THE STEEL ALLOWS FUEL TO LEAK FROM THE INJECTOR VIA THE CRIMP HOLES.

Injuries / Consequence

IF AN IGNITION SOURCE IS PRESENT, FUEL LEAKAGE CAN RESULT IN AN ENGINE FIRE.

Remedy

FUEL INJECTORS ARE BEING RETURNED TO SAGEM FOR TESTING.
