Description

Shred-Tech Corporation (Shred-Tech) is recalling certain 2021-2023 MDS-4-33 shredding trucks. Shredded paper may accumulate in the space between the cutting knives and the bulkhead wall.

Injuries / Consequence

The accumulation of excess shredded paper can compress and overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Shred-Tech will install a new bulkhead wall, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed out beginning May 1, 2023. Owners may contact Shred-Tech customer service at 1-800-465-3214.
