Description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PARK TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH SUBURBAN MANUFACTURING COMPANY P-40 PARK TRAILER FURNACES. THE COMBUSTION AIR BLOWER WHEEL WAS NOT TO DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS. OPERATION OF THE FURNACE WITH THE INCORRECT BLOWER WHEEL COULD PROVIDE AN INADEQUATE SUPPLY OF COMBUSTION AIR TO SUPPORT PROPER COMBUSTION. THE RESULT IS THAT THE FURNACE EXHAUST COULD CONTAIN EXCESSIVE LEVELS OF CARBON MONOXIDE.

Injuries / Consequence

IF CARBON MONOXIDE IS NOT DETECTED, IT COULD RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

Remedy

SUBURBAN WILL REPLACE THE COMBUSTION AIR BLOWER WHEEL. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT SUBURBAN 1-423-775-2131 OR SKYLINE AT 1-219-294-6521.
