Description

Kalmar Solutions, LLC (Kalmar) is recalling certain 2023 Ottawa T2 vehicles. The steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.

Injuries / Consequence

A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the defective gears, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Kalmar customer service at 1-785-229-6327.
