Description

Taylor-Dunn is recalling certain model year 2011 Trident low speed vehicles manufactured from February 2011 through June 2011. The steering wheel shaft may be insufficiently welded to the U-joint.

Injuries / Consequence

If the weld fails, steering control may be lost while driving, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

Remedy

Taylor-Dunn will notify owners, and dealers will replace the steering shafts, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in January 2013. Owners may contact Taylor-Dunn at 1-714-956-4040.
