THE WELDS ON A BRACKET WHICH ATTACHES THE TILT- TELESCOPING STEERING COLUMN TO THE FIREWALL UNDER THE DASH ARE DEFECTIVE AND COULD FAIL.

Injuries / Consequence

FAILURE OF THE ATTACHMENT BRACKET CAN RESULT IN A LOSSOF STEERING CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

Remedy

A NEW, IMPROVED BRACKET WILL BE INSTALLED ON ALL AFFECTED UNITS.
