THE FRONT AXLE DRAG LINK CLAMP ASSEMBLIES INSTALLED ON THE SUSPECT VEHICLES MAY CONTAIN BOLTS WHICH HAVE QUENCH CRACKS AND ARE SUBJECT TO FAILURE. FAILURE OF THE BOLT WOULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CLAMPING ACTION AND CONTINUED OPERATION COULD LEAD TO SEPARATION OF THE BALL JOINT AND DRAG LINK.
Remedy
DEALER WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE ANY DEFECTIVE BOLTS IN THE DRAG LINK CLAMP ASSEMBLY WITHOUT CHARGE.
