Description

JAYCO IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 JAY FEATHER SELECT TRAVEL TRAILERS SERIES 29L, MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 1, 2010, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 10, 2010. DURING THE COURSE OF A ROUTINE INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE STOVE IN THE EXTERIOR KITCHEN HAD NOT BEEN TESTED FOR LIQUID PROPANE (LP) LEAKS.

Injuries / Consequence

AN LP LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE, INJURY, OR DEATH.

Remedy

JAYCO WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE VEHICLES FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON DECEMBER 9, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAYCO AT 1-800-283-8267.
