Description

ON CERTAIN CONVERTER DOLLIES, THE CHECK VALVE BETWEEN THE AIR RESERVOIR AND THE BOOSTER VALVE WAS INSTALLED IN THE REVERSE POSITION WITH THE ARROW ON THE VALVE POINTING TOWARDS THE AIR RESERVOIR.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS CAN RESULT IN LOW AIR PRESSURE TO THE BOOSTER VALVE. THIS ALSO CREATES A BRAKING TIMING ISSUE TO THE TRAILER UNIT(S).

Remedy

THE CHECK VALVE WILL BE RE-PLUMBED, ARROW POINTING TOWARDS THE BOOSTER VALVE, TO PROVIDE CORRECT AIR FLOW. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN ON APRIL 26, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT STRICK AT 1-215-949-3600.
