Description

Electra Meccanica Vehicles Corp (Electra) is recalling certain 2019 Solo G2 and 2021-2023 Solo G3 vehicles. A defect in the motor controller and inverter or the battery controller may cause the electric motor to shut down and cause a sudden loss of drive power.

Injuries / Consequence

A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Electra will repurchase the affected vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed April 14, 2023. Owners may contact Electra customer service at 1-888-457-SOLO (7656).
