Description

Zamzow Mfg Co Inc. (Zamzow) is recalling one Aero Easy Cover tarping pawl assembly. The spring return pin within the pawl assembly may have not been tack welded, allowing the pawl assembly to separate from the hub on the manual crank assembly.

Injuries / Consequence

Separation of the pawl assembly and hub may cause the swing arms on the Easy Cover tarping system to unexpectedly swing to the back of the dump body, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Aero industries sent the affected customer a pawl retrofit kit, free of charge. Owners may contact Zamzow customer service at 1-816-483-5213.
