TELESCOPING POLESETTER EXTENSION
Description
TEREX TELELECT IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 1999 THROUGH 2009 TEXOMA 330 AUGER DRILLS WITH TELESCOPING POLESETTER EXTENSION MOUNTED ON TRUCKS. THE VEHICLES INVOLVED UTILIZED A HYDRAULIC CYLINDER TO ARTICULATE THE POLESETTER EXTENSION. THE VEHICLES ARE PRESSURE DIGGERS USED TO DRILL HOLES AND HANDLE POLES. THE EXTENSION CAN HAVE UNINTENDED MOVEMENT UP TO 4 TO 6 INCHES WHEN OTHER FUNCTIONS ARE OPERATED.
Injuries / Consequence
UNINTENDED MOVEMENT OF THE EXTENSION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO THE OPERATOR WHICH COULD RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
Remedy
