The Conran Shop Recalls Pondicherry Dining Tables Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard (Recall Alert)
Description
The wood tables have a table top wrapped in brass. The brass has been coated with zinc to give it a green patina, and then coated with a clear matte lacquer. The tables are about 78 inches long, 36 inches wide and 29 inches tall and have four legs made of teak wood. The table top is made of acacia wood and has either four or six panels of zinc-patinated brass nailed to it.
Injuries / Consequence
There has been one reported incident of elevated lead levels in the table.
