Description

Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2019 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles, equipped with certain Continental Hybrid HS3 tires, size 11R22.5 Load Range G. The tire cords may be visible through the innerliner.

Injuries / Consequence

Tires with visible cords through the innerliner may have a sudden loss of air, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

DTNA will notify owners, and Continental authorized service facilities will inspect and replace the tires, free of charge. The recall began on September 4, 2018. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712, or Continental customer service at 1-888-799-2168. DTNA's number for this recall is FL-779.
