Description

General Rubber (Thailand) Co., Ltd (General Rubber) is recalling certain Xcellent Roadbreaker A/T tires, size LT305/65R17 with a tire identification number that ends in “4324.” The tire may crack and the inner liner may separate, which can result in tire failure. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles."

Injuries / Consequence

Tire failure can cause a sudden loss of tire pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

General Rubber will provide a refund of the purchase price of the tires. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 12, 2026. Owners may contact Xcellent Tire & Wheel, Inc. at (214) 299-9572.
