Description

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (Bridgestone) is recalling certain Firestone HP3000 315/80R22.5 18 ply tires manufactured January 2012 through August 2013 and sold to customers in Guam. The affected tires may lose pressure from a crack at the inner liner splice. Such a crack could penetrate into the sidewall, resulting in a bulge on the sidewall.

Injuries / Consequence

A sidewall bulge may result in a tire deflation and subsequent tire failure which increases the risk of a crash.
