Description
TIRES WERE MANUFACTURED WITH THE TREAD PACKAGE BEING PLACED OFF CENTER. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: THIS OFF CENTER CONDITION RESULTS IN A THIN SUB BASE CONDITION IN THE SHOULDER AREA OF THE TIRE. UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, THE TREADS OF THE TIRE WOULD SEPARATE FROM THE BELTS, CAUSING LOSS OF AIR AND STEERING CONTROL AND MAY RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy
REPLACE TIRE WITH NEW ONE AT NO COST TO CONSUMER WITHIN 60 DAYS FROM DATE OF NOTIFICATION. DOT IDENTIFICATION: UPFMAJH 205.
