Tonneau Cover May Detach During Transit
Description
Peragon Enterprises, Inc. (Peragon) is recalling certain Peragon Tectonic hard, three-panel tonneau covers. The bed cover's plastic slides may become damaged and allow the cover to detach during transit.
Injuries / Consequence
A detached bed cover can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Peragon will provide carriage brackets, rail brackets, cab latch pins, and steel sliders with instructions, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed August 2, 2025. Second owner notification letters with replacement parts are expected to be mailed September 2025. Owners may contact Peragon customer service at 1-877-473-7246.
