Description

ON CERTAIN BOAT TRAILERS SOLD BY THE MARINE GROUP, THE FIBERGLAS FENDER CAN RUB A HOLE IN THE DISC BRAKE HOSE ALLOWING BRAKE FLUID TO LEAK OUT.

Injuries / Consequence

THE BRAKE SYSTEM WILL DEPRESSURIZE, RENDERING THE SYSTEM INOPERABLE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPOSITION AND CLAMP THE BRAKE HOSE AWAY FROM THE FENDER. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JANUARY 30, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT TRACKER MARINE AT 1-417-873-4555.
