Description

Hitch-Hiker Mfg., Inc. (Hitch Hiker) is recalling certain model year 2008-2011 food concession trailers equipped with GKN brand axles. In the affected trailers, the axle may break allowing the arm, spindle, hub, wheel and tire to separate.

Injuries / Consequence

If the trailer is being towed and the axle breaks it may increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Hitch-Hiker will notify owners and replace the axles. The recall began during April 2013. Owners may contact Hitch-Hiker at 1-330-542-3052.
