Description

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: AIR-CONDITIONING EVAPORATORS. THE EVAPORATOR MOTOR COULD STALL, DUE TO CORROSION CAUSED BY CONDENSATE WATER ENTERING THE MOTOR, RESULTING IN HIGH AMPERAGE DRAW. THIS CAN CAUSE THE MOTOR COMPONENTS TO OVERHEAT.

Injuries / Consequence

THE MOTOR COMPONENTS OVERHEATING CAN PROVIDE AN IGNITION SOURCE, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A FIRE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPAIR THESE EVAPORATORS.
