Description
Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. (IMT) is recalling certain Omnex Proportional Wireless Transmitters, part numbers 70733882 and 70733883, used for controlling cranes. These wireless transmitters have a diode that can fail, possibly causing the crane to move in an unintended manner.
Injuries / Consequence
If the crane moves in a way that was not intended, it can increase the risk of injury to those nearby.
Remedy
IMT will notify owners, and IMT Distributors will replace the transmitter, free of charge. The recall began January 14, 2019. Owners may contact IMT customer service at 1-800-554-4421.
