Description

ZF North America, Inc. (ZF) is recalling certain Global Steering Columns with part number A14-20679-001. The bolts securing the upper and lower steering shafts may have been improperly tightened.

Injuries / Consequence

The loose bolts can cause steering system components to separate, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

ZF will work with DTNA to inspect and replace the steering shafts and bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 20, 2025. Owners may contact ZF customer service at 1-855-228-3203 (US/Canada).
