Description

AFTERMARKET VECTOR COFFEE MAKERS PACKAGED AS GREATLAND, MODEL NO. VEC216GT, AND VECTOR, MODEL NO. VEC216. THE HEATING ELEMENT INSIDE THE PRODUCT CAN LOOSEN CAUSING IT TO COME IN CONTACT WITH THE PLASTIC BOTTOM LAYER WHICH SUBSEQUENTLY HEATS THE SURFACE IT SETS ON.

POSSIBLE FIRE CAN OCCUR.

Remedy

VECTOR HAS NOTIFIED ITS RETAILERS TO REMOVED THE PRODUCT FROM THE SHELVES AND THEY WILL REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE COFFEE MAKER WITH ANOTHER MODEL. NOTIFICATION BEGAN DECEMBER 13, 2002. OWNERS WHO DO NOT RECEIVED THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT VECTOR PRODUCTS, INC. AT 954-584-4442.
