Description

Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 GEM eLXD L09GVHA4X and L10GVHA4X hybrid electric vehicles manufactured November 25, 2008, to December 30, 2010. The affected vehicles have frame welds between the cab and cargo bed that may crack.

Injuries / Consequence

If the frame welds crack, the frame may fall and contact the pavement, stopping the vehicle suddenly and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Polaris will notify owners, and dealers will repair the vehicles free of charge. The recall began May 28, 2015. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-888-704-5290. Polaris' recall number is L-15-01.
