Description

Timberland Inc. DBA Glacier (Glacier) is recalling certain model year 2016 Glacier 17 RV Explorer recreational trailers, models A612, A614 and A165, manufactured February 1, 2016, to November 1, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the drop axle pivot pin retainer bolt may be too short for the locking nut to fully engage.

Injuries / Consequence

If the bolt separates from the lock nut, the wheel assembly may detach from the chassis, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Glacier will notify owners, and representatives of the Ickler Company, the chassis manufacturer, will travel to the dealer's or customer's location to fix the issue, free of charge. The recall began on January 26, 2017. Owners may contact Glacier customer service at 1-218-454-1078 or the Ickler Company at 1-320-251-8282.
