Description

ROAD DEBRIS MAY ENTER AN OPENING IN THE REAR SUSPENSION TRAILING ARM AND DAMAGE THE BEARING SEAL.

Injuries / Consequence

VEHICLE STABILITY MAY BE IMPAIRED UNDER CERTAIN ROADOR OPERATING CONDITIONS WHICH MAY CAUSE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.

Remedy

DRILL A 1/8 INCH VENT/DRAIN HOLE, CLEAN THE BEARING SEAL AREA, APPLY HEAVY WASHOUT RESISTANT GREASE BETWEEN THE HUB ASSEMBLY AND THE TRAILING ARM SURFACES, AND INSTALL A FOAM RUBBER PLUG INTO THE ANGLED OPENING AT INBOARD SIDE OF THE TRAILING ARM.
