Description
THE ALUMINUM FRONT AXLE HUBS WERE MANUFACTURED WITH SLIGHTLY UNDERSIZED OUTER BEARING BORES. (HUBS ARE THE STRUCTURES UPON WHICH THE WHEELS AND THEIR BEARINGS ROTATE.) DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF STRESS IMPOSED ON THE HUB, A FATIGUE FAILURE MAY OCCUR LATE IN THE SERVICE LIFE OF THE TRUCK.
