Description

IMPROPER SHAPING OF BOLT HOLE COUNTERSINK AS WELL AS COUNTERSINK BEING TOO SHALLOW AND ECCENTRIC TO THE BOLT HOLE IN SOME CASES CAUSING LUG NUT TO LOSE PROPER TORQUE. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: WHEN LUG NUTS LOSE PROPER TORQUE IT CAUSES CRACKS TO DEVELOP IN DISC WHEEL WHICH COULD FAIL AND FALL OFF CAUSING VEHICLE CRASH.

Remedy

WHEELS WILL BE INSPECTED AND REPAIRED OR REPLACED AS NECESSARY.
