Description

THE RIM CLAMP MAY CRACK THROUGH THE STUD HOLE UNDER THE RIM NUT. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECTS: CRACKING THROUGH OF THE RIM CLAMPS MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF AIR AND OR LOSS OF RIM AND TIRE FROM THE WHEEL. SHOULD THIS OCCUR WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL MAY BE EXPERIENCED WHICH MAY RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT. ALSO IF THE RIM CLAMP FAILS DURING THE INSTALLING OR REPAIR OF A TIRE, IT MAY CAUSE INJURY TO ANYONE IN THE VICINITY OF THE OPERATION. CORRECTIVE ACTION: ALL RIM CLAMPS WILL BE REPLACED WITH RIM CLAMPS OF AN UPDATED VERSION.
