Window Defrost Actuator May Overheat
Description
Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Xpeditor vehicles. These vehicles are equipped with an HVAC defrost door actuator system mechanism that may overheat due to inadequate circuit protection.
Injuries / Consequence
Overheating of the defrost actuator increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Autocar will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional harness with a one amp fuse to the circuit, free of charge. The recall began on January 12, 2018. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-1704.
