Description

ON CERTAIN DIESEL BUSES BUILT ON FORD E-350 AND E-450 CHASSIS AND EQUIPPED WITH CARRIER VACUUM PUMP BRACKETS, THE BRACKETS COULD BREAK.

Injuries / Consequence

WHEN THE BRACKET BREAKS, THE VACUUM PUMP THAT PROVIDES THE POWER TO THE POWER BRAKES BECOMES INOPERATIVE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. ALSO, THE POWER STEERING COULD BE AFFECTED IF THE BELT GETS INTO THE OTHER BELTS.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE BRACKETS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 21, 2005. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT DIAMOND COACH AT 1-620-795-2191.
