Description

DURING DYNAMIC SLED TEST THE CHILD SEAT'S PLASTIC SHELL FRACTURED AND THE BACK SUPPORT ANGLE INCREASED. THEREFORE THE SEATS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF STANDARD FMVSS 213, DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE, CHILD SEAT INTEGRITY. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: FAILURE TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT OF FMVSS 213 INCREASES THE POSSIBILITY OF SERIOUS INJURY TO THE CHILD SEAT OCCUPANT IN A CRASH.

Remedy
