Description
Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The hydronic heating system wiring may be incorrectly connected to constant 12V power, which can cause the hydronic heating system to unintentionally activate.
Injuries / Consequence
Unintended activation of the hydronic heating system can produce harmful gas, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will repair the wiring, and disconnect the hydronic heating system from constant 12V power, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 626 RSB.
