Description
Morbark, Inc. (Morbark) is recalling certain model year 2008-2016 Beever wood chippers, models M15R, M15RX, M18R, M18RX and M20R, manufactured January 5, 2008, to October 3, 2016. The side marker lights on the affected vehicles may be mounted too high to be easily seen. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Injuries / Consequence
Side marker lights in an incorrect location may increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Morbark will notify owners, and dealers will relocate the rear side marker lights, free of charge. The recall began on January 9, 2017. Owners may contact Morbark customer service at 1-517-866-2381.
