Description
Morbark, Inc. (Morbark) is recalling certain model year 2009-2016 Beever wood chipper trailers manufactured January 5, 2009, to August 3, 2016. The affected trailers are missing reflex reflectors. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Injuries / Consequence
Without reflectors, the wood chipper trailer may be less visible to other traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Morbark will notify owners and provide them with reflectors to install, free of charge. The recall on November 4, 2016. Owners may contact Morbark customer service at 1-517-866-2381.
