Description

THE INVOLVED VEHICLES FAIL TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 209, "SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES". THE SEAT BELTS ON THE SIDE-FACING REAR SEATS ARE ADEQUATE FOR SOME ADULTS BUT TOO SHORT TO BUCKLE AROUND ALL PASSENGERS.

Remedy

DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, WHERE NECESSARY, INSTALL LONGER SEAT BELTS WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
