Description

THE STEERING GEAR BRACKET USED TO MOUNT THE POWER STEERING GEAR TO THE CHASSIS FRAME CAN CRACK AND FAIL.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS CAN CAUSE THE STEERING GEAR TO BIND, RESULTING IN A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE ACCIDENT.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT VEHICLES AND REPLACE THE BRACKETS WITH NEWLY DESIGNED BRACKETS. UNTIL REPLACEMENT BRACKETS ARE AVAILABLE, OWNERS ARE ADVISED TO INSPECT THE BRACKETS FOR CRACKS, AND CONTACT PIERCE MANUFACTURING FOR REPAIR INFORMATION.
